    installing on hdmi tv

    Hello I have a problem installing ubuntu 13.04 when it pops up the selection menu to install it shows me a liniar image in the right corner of the tv. i am trying to install on hdmi from usb my specs are: tv 1600-1200 res pc asrock fm2a75 pro4,amd a10 x4-5800k, corsair ddr3 2x8gb 1600, intel ssd 335 240 gb, segate st3500413as 500 gb, wd15ears 1,5 tb, gigabyte 570 w Pleas help Thanks P.S. i will add a picture a soon a possible

    I heve instaled ubunto but on a normal monitor on the tv still it does not work what can i do?

    What graphics card have you got in there? It's quite possible that it isn't going to push out 1600x1200, or it may need some drivers or tweakage before it will.

    That's integrated graphics in your CPU yes? That might be your problem. Have you checked to see if the system is suggesting a driver for it?

    Click the Ubuntu logo on the top left of the screen. Type "software" and one of the results will be Software Sources. Click it, and then go to the last tab in the window and install the latest AMD/ATI driver that is offered.
    I try to treat the cause, not the symptom. I avoid the terminal in instructions, unless it's easier or necessary. My instructions will work within the Ubuntu system, instead of breaking or subverting it. Those are the three guarantees to the helpee.
