Sony Vaio Touchscreen

Hi all;
Now I have a Sony Vaio with touchscreen and 750 GB hard drive.
I dont see any compatibility with Ubuntu but would go nuts with an Ubuntu touchscreen.
Ubuntu seems the most likely touchscreen capable distro, and I will need Linux to compute.
When will I be able to put Ubuntu on this machine, touchscreen enabled.
Any suggestions or such..
Whats more winds8 pro has a built in hypervisor perfect for dual booting.
The touchscreen is practically made for using in terminal, no touchpad required.
