Going through all your options, I think your best option is Stencyl. It runs on Ubuntu, exports to Flash, and is designed to make game development easier for those with no extensive programming knowledge.

Yes! i checked the forum... nothing.
They try to bring Stencyl now for almost 2 years in the Ubuntu Software-Center but there is still nothing..
because "it kinda don't looks that good"
..the "tutorial" on how to run Stencyl on Linux also didn't worked

Re: How to make a Game

Seems to have worked for me..

what exactly didn't work about it?

    what i did:

after extracting file, run the Stencyl script like it says in the "tutorial"

make the sw.jar file executible and run.. (there you go!)

for some reason to run any of the example games i had to install ia32-libs-gtk.

Re: How to make a Game

what type of game do you want to make? If you are looking at making a 2D platformer or 2D overhead game, I suggest trying out MelonJS: http://www.melonjs.org/ with the Tiled map editor: http://www.mapeditor.org/

This is an HTML5 framework that uses java script coding, so it works in just about every browser, regardless of the platform. And you can make some pretty nice things with it. There is a basic tutorial here: http://melonjs.github.io/tutorial/ and the Tiled map editor has a Linux build. Check out some examples here: http://www.melonjs.org/gallery.html
