Counter-Strike: Global Offensive ever coming to linux?

I'm looking for an action multiplayer game for linux. Counter Strike Source seems too old, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on the other hand is apparently just rumored to be going to be ported to linux. So does anybody know if I should wait for CS: GO or go with Source?
Also, any better choices for action multi-player like Counter Strike?

Like CS? Counter Strike: Source, 1.6, Half-Life with a few mods are available in Steam for Linux. I suggest personally to you "Warsow" (game like a Borderlands with nice, comic graphic) or Assault Cube, which is much similar to CS and of course free. You can find it in default Ubuntu repositories.

So now you don't just have one great action multi-player shooter coming to Linux that you have to wait for but two, but hey at-least now you know for sure that they are coming
