    Get rid of frame - Grub

    Is it possible to get rid of the "box" (the frame drawn in unicode characters around the menu entries) in a themeless grub boot configuration?
    What file would I need to modify?

    I would try with editing /etc/default/grub.

    Looks like there's no mention of a textual frame there.
