If I'm reading Elfy correctly, that function would have to be switched for you, one user. I don't think that's possible. If the function is switched off it is switched off for everyone. Don't think there is a local machine toggle for you to do it yourself at your end.

sorry - there's not a way to do so - either by default or not
I daresay it could be coded to do so - but would be global and not something we'd be doing.
