    DisplayPort Problems

When I turn on my computer, the BIOS shows and Ubuntu begins to load after, but then the screen goes black, and the only way to get picture again is by physically disconnecting my monitor and reconnecting it. The picture will magically come back again and I will be at my login screen. After I login, my screen will go black again and I have to disconnect and reconnect the monitor another time. I have another monitor that uses a DVI port and I have no problems with it, but whenever I use my HP Elite L2201x monitor with DisplayPort I always have to deal with this problem.

Is there a solution to this? Thank you so much!!!

    Re: DisplayPort Problems

I found the problem. I enabled the proprietary driver for my video card and BAM! The problem is now fixed.
