    PDF editing

I have installed a bunch of apps but can't find one that will easily do what I want. I am attching a file. I have hundreds of these and need to delete every other staff to make fewer page turns and less printing. I want only the notation staffs not the TAB staffs. Can someone suggest a way to do this?

    Re: PDF editing

As noted above, editing PDFs will be difficult if at all possible. If it is at all possible work with the upstream program that created the PDFs and then export the modified files to PDF. PDF itself was never meant for editing and is only kind of a holding area before the document heads of to either the printer or the bit bucket.

    Howdy,

Yes you can edit one or two of those using the Gimp, but it will take forever to do hundreds.

    ImageMagick works with PDFs.

Might be worth seeing if it can do what you want

With pdf inkscape is often better than gimp, as it doesn't turn the image into a raster format. Best is to avoid editing pdfs, but sometimes you can't get the source from which they were generated.
