    Vbox?

    Hi there,

I am running W7 in a Virtual box. My question is there a way to cut/copy downloads from windows folder & paste them in Ubuntu home?

    Thanks.

In the most recent Virtual Machines there is option for copy/paste from HOST to GUEST only or bidirectional. When you are in the Virtual Machine, just click on Devices and you will find it.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I am using Oracle VM Virtual box manager, but can't find the devices category?

I've always used the Devices / Shared Folders menu. You can make a folder on the host show up as a network share on the guest.

When you start your Virtual Machine there is a Menu of the Machine itself. One of the sub-menus is Devices -> Drag-n-Drop or Devices -> Shared Clipboard !

    Thanks again.

How do I access the shared folder from W7 to copy/cut, & how does one add guest?
