MAJOR Problem with Mount and Blade: Warband.

I have recently purchased a copy of Mount and Blade: Warband from the taleworlds website. Any time I try to launch it via wine, it doesn't crash on startup (the first two little clips come out fine,) and than this happens:



any help would be appreciated. It happens on all screens. If I try to get around it, and play the game how it normally would via remembering the buttons, it freezes my computer while I'm making a character.

Which version you got? In the winehq database there is one version (1.151) rated as Garbarage, so if you got that version, you probably need to update to a more recent version.

You should go to the link in post#2 and read through the testing results. The last entry mentions using the game with Steam.

I got version 1.153 and I've tried running it on steam... is this just a personal pc problem? this happens on steam, also... so, I wouldn't know what to do.
