    Making Secure PDF files

Is there a way to make a PDF file secure that has been created in Inkscape and/or LibreOffice??

I want to be able to make them copy protected to stop any form of copying. I know there are often ways around it but I want to be able to at least have some copyright protection from the the Average user that won't be able to work out or think about a way around it.

Using Ubuntu 12.04 by the way...

how are you offering your PDFs? by mail?

otherwise you could add watermark to them.

but anyway when you click "export to PDF" in Libre office there is a tab called security. click it and set password there. you can then also set levels of restriction etc.

i would think a similar procedure is done in inkscape
Read the easy to understand, lots of pics Ubuntu manual.
Do i need antivirus/firewall in linux?
Full disk backup (newer kernel -> suitable for newer PC): Clonezilla
User friendly full disk backup: Rescuezilla
