    Wirless works, wired does not

    Ubuntu 13.04 install, got the wireless to work, but still can not get the wired to work.
    Dell Latitude D630
    full install over XP Pro
    BCM 4311

    Also wanted to say it does pick up directly off the modem, so I thought it was my router, so I tied my old router, and it does not work off of that one either, or my next door neighbors. router, so I think I'm missing some drivers for the ethernet cable part...wireless works ok. The wired LAN card is a Broadcom Netextreme 57xx.

    anybody got any suggestions, or where I can get LAN drivers for Dell Latitude D630. I searched on Dell's website, but I did not see any drivers for Linux
