    Uninstalling firefox plugins

    Is there a way to unistall firefox plugins in ubuntu?

    Hmmm... do you mean from Tools --> Add-ons --> Plugins from within Firefox? My apologies if I have misunderstood.

    Most plugins exist as separate apps. You can do:
    Code:
    sudo apt-get purge <name_of_plugin>
    Newb: How far must I jump to clear the ledge halfway down?

    Its because some plugin were installed without knowledge, and were unable to be uninstalled in Firefox itself.
