how to turn off discrete graphics card with Ivy Bridge?

    Gooday All,

I just wanna know what command should I enter to turn off discrete graphics card with Ivy Bridge, I have Radeon 8730M on Dell Inspiron 15r (by the way it came with Ubuntu pre-installed, but the computer shop removed it and installed Windows before I bought it),

    FYI,
on Sandy Bridge computer u can find /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch, where u can do commands to turn off/on,

Only on this Ivy Bridge /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/ is not found at all, I tested it with Live UBUNTU and installed Ubuntu,

The reason I ask is that there's no driver ready yet from AMD on this card, I just wanna know how to turn it off to keep using Ubuntu, of course I googled before I'm posting this,

    Many thanks in advance,

I'm also interested in an answer to this. Samsung Series 7 2013, 8770M is not recognized correctly and I couldn't care less tbh, but I want to disable it for cooler operation and better battery life. Currently on xorg-edgers, tried fglrx with no luck. vgaswitcheroo is not available/
