Model: Toshiba Satellite C855

OS: Linux Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Problem: Wifi connections take forever to switch.

Example: I was connected to School_WiFi earlier, now, I'm at home.

I try to connect to Home_WiFi.

Screen Popup: School_Wifi wireless has been disconnected.

The popup will show multiple times over a number of minutes while the wifi attempts to connect.

The total wait time is usually five minutes to change connections. What's up?
