How to create and partition Raid 0 software array in 12.10 (Mint)

I have a question regarding software Raid.

I use a SSD drive for my system files (/, swap and /home) and I would like to setup two black caviar 500GB HDs in a software Raid 0 for data, games, movies etc. The drives are sdb and sdc.

How do I create, partition and mount the Raid 0 array when I have booted from the SSD? I know I can use an alternate installer but I would like to do it from my running system,

I have read a couple of threads about creating a Raid 0 array for booting the system (booting fra live CD etc.) but no one - so far - about setting up a Raid 0 data-array on a live system.

    Any suggestions/advice for a semi-noob?

    Thank you in advance!
