Hi, although Iíve been running Linux for over 2 years now Iím still not overly confidant with the command line and a few other aspects, (so please can you keep it simple for me =) ) Iím also not entirely sure what Iím talking about I just know I've got an issue and its probably to do with my drivers. OK I've just got a new monitor that works in HD although I'm not currently using an HDMI cable, I'm still using my old VGA. my OS is Ubuntu 12.10 (but I'm using a cinnamon desktop over the top of it) and my graphics card is NVIDIA GT430. my graphics card is HD compatible, AVI i think. (but again i donít know enough to be sure on that) since I've plugged my new monitor in i keep getting this message 'Running in software rendering mode, the system is currently running with out video hardware acceleration and as a result you may observe much higher CPU usage' witch is true ive checked my CPU usage in comparison to what it was before and its a lot higher some heavy graphics games i cant run because it freezes the screen. ive found what i think are solutions but i donít understand the answers. like i said im not good on the command line and i donít know a lot about this subject. i relay hope some one can help me, =) .
