Printer stopped working canon MP610

Hello.
My printer has suddenly stopped working correctly, printing starts but paper stops half way through,although a message continues to say Printing from PC. This is the printer setting usb://Canon/MP610%20series?serial=491CED&interface=1. I tried printing a test page but this did not work.
I have wubi dual boot with Windows 7. the printer works on this system.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for your advice, have at last sorted the problem, disconnected the printer and usb cable,reconnected all appears to be working well. Strange!!
