HP 2510p Mic Problems on Ubuntu 13.04

Hi, I've been searching for weeks and even asked on askubuntu.com for nothing as I received no reply... so I'm trying here.

I have an HP 2510p running Ubuntu 13.04 (problem was also with ubuntu 12.04 LTS) and my internal microphone isn't working. I have no idea why.... I didn't work since the first time I installed Ubuntu on this. So not much details... sorry. I do know however that some people might be looking fo rthe output of "sudo lspci" so here it is:

Haven't tried an external microphone to be frank..... any help would be greatly appreciated.
