For the 8567378763th time. It's NOT possible to play or emulate PS3 Games in playable form on any OS yet and probably not in the next few Years.
Hi,
nsync, if you saw someone playing the PS3 on youtube it was most likely a fluke. If you are referring to this website, I am not sure you should trust it or the "video" proof going around on youtube. They haven't even managed to fully emulate a PSP, I doubt PS3 will be possible for a long while because they have better CPUs, cell processors, that run I think even better than i7 CPUs.
edit
Yup, fake, all of them, at least if they claim to run any games least of all "fully". See this thread for example;

They are being used to spread viruses.

http://ps3emulator2011.blogspot.com/...latorbios.html and it proved there is an emmulator http://emulator-zone.com/doc.php/pla...on3/rpcs3.html. It only does homebrew, but it is a start and thus makes you a liar.So now that we got one for the PS3 all we got to do is find a way to port it to Linux or BSD.
So it can do a few functions the real system can do. Remember when the experimental Nintendo DS emulators came out?
You can likely run RPCS3 through WINE in its current state; I won't be too optimistic of homebrew at this point since only sound-processor data is being read.
