Create a desktop shortcut to 'Displays' dialog in 12.04

    Hi all

Need to create a desktop shortcut to 'Displays' dialog in 12.04 as using a KVM switch, the server display resolution can change if the second PC is booted/rebooted.

    Anyone got a snippit, please?

    TIA

This really isn't a server question, but to answer your question, to access the Display applet use the following command:

    Code:
    gnome-control-center display
to find more gnome-control-center options, check-out:

    Code:
    man gnome-control-center
    BTW, moved to General Help.
