Misrendered flash objects - Dell optiplex 170L

I've been using this machine since Lubuntu 12.10 (for obvious reasons when you see the system specs), with no issues.

However, since upgrading to 13.04, I've been experiencing loads of misrendered flash objects, where everything is misshapen and flash incessantly.



This also happens with flash averts, so you can understand how this gets annoying.

Dell optiplex 170L
Intel Celeron 600/800Mhz
512Mb ram


Any help fixing this would be appreciated.

bump. I've reinstalled flash, and it's still not working.
