generic solar inverter software

hello all does anybody know of a good software program for a solar inverter that will work with 12.04 ,, i do have wine installed

Perhaps a little more explanation of what you have, what you are trying to do with it, and perhaps names of Windows software that we can look for a replacement for?

HELLO Squakie ,sorry about the lack of info The inverter i have is a sunways 5.2kw with its own inbuilt software for windows I dont know what the version of the software is but its not all that good. My computer in the house that i wish to use to access the inverter is using ubuntu 12.04 .What i am hoping for is a generic software to access the inverter and run on ubuntu cheers.. himinshed

if you google around "ubuntu solar inverter" you will get threads which might help you (thats the fun with the net: mostly you are never the first one trying to solve an issue, and luckyly someone has already found the solution)
