I'm not surprised windows Me / vista was failed too!! It seems every other OS Microsoft brings it is like that.
Windows Me bad , Windows XP fixed that , windows vista bad , windows 7 fixed that , windows 8 bad !! Now it is up windows 9 to fix that when it comes out be it year ,two or three years from now.
Again this mess could have been solved if Microsoft didnt push Windows 7 out of stores and off computers.
Windows 7 for traditional setups, win8 for touchscreens.
Was that so difficult?

Doesnt matter.
The fact MS needs to come out with a patch like this shows they were overconfident in metro.
Until they could get more touch devices win8 should have been optional and not forced on an unready market.
They should have given win7 one more year and let win 8 have two versions when it came out
