Just installed Unbuntu using Dameon tools on my Windows 7 PC. I rebooted and selected Unbuntu, it shows a loading screen then plays a little tone then goes black. Any Help?

Ummm... I've sort have had the same problem... It just shows the login screen, and when i log in, it has no interface other than the right click thing and the cursor. So i just use Xubuntu instead.

You can try booting to a LIVE CD and if the machine boots see if you can mount and read the HDD-

Did you partition your partitions correctly?
Shrink Windows partition first before you Linux install?
