    Installing avidemux

    Hi,
I want to install avidemux to convert some .mkv video files to .mpeg2 but when I try to install through the Software Centre I get the following..

    Requires installation of untrusted packages

    avidemux avidemux-common avidemux-plugins-common avidemux-plugins-gtk lame libaften0 libavidemux0

    Help please.
I have AMD Ryzen 5 3400G on a Gigabyte B450 AORUS PRO motherboard, 16GB DDR4 3600mhz RAM. Two WD Blue SN550 1TB SSDs in M.2 slots. First SSD has two partitions, 500 Gb Windows 10 on one, Ubuntu 22.04 on other, second drive (NTFS) used as storage.

We can't tell you where your packages are coming from. It wounds like you have enabled additional software sources. Perhaps these instructions: http://handytutorial.com/install-avi...u-12-10-12-04/ ?

I usually use Synaptic to install software. You can then sort it for origin, and search, and then see where your software is coming from and why it's being tagged as untrusted.
