Question Ubuntu 13.04 Is Now Ready And I have 12.04 LTS

    Hello,

Ubuntu 13.04 Is Now Ready And I have 12.04 LTS. I use Ubuntu Classic instead of Unity. Does Ubuntu 12.10 and 13.04 have Ubuntu Classic too? And, will I have to upgrade to 12.10 before I can update to 13.04? If so, how do I do this?

    Thanks Hannibal

I love it when a plan comes together. It keeps me "on the jazz."

Open Software Sources>Updates and set it to be notified of the any new release. It will be set to Next LTS. Then run check or reload the utility and it will invite you to click a button. You will get 12.10 and then you have to move up to 13.04 BUT 13.04 only has 9 months support. So, in six months time you will have to upgrade to 13.10 and then in another six months you will have to upgrade to 14.04. Just so that you know.

    Thanks,

The reason I need the new releases is to get the Android phone drivers.

It's been about a week since I've done this and I haven't been offered an upgrade. What else can I do?

    Thanks Hannibal
