model: asus m6n
cpu: intel 1400 mghz
video: ati radeon 9600 mobility
I run lubuntu 12.04 lts.
The main problem is that today my computer froze several times when browsing (facebook, datamation, ibm devworks - regular stuff) and I had to poweroff and boot to get it working again. It essentially bricked the whole machine.
It could be caused by several things I think. Video card failure, drivers not working properly, kernel panic, the RAM perhaps.
I didn't hear any warning sounds like beeping of any kind.
At the moment it has been working as normal for hours again without any problems.
Is there any way I can view error logs to trouble shoot this sort of thing? Maybe my asus is just reaching the end of its life after 13 years.
