Yes -- and I was there -- Ok not exactly. i remember someone showing me the internet in 1995 with Mosaic -- there were a few pages that I remember viewing but they were all in text with maybe one gif or two. I remember thinking to myself "why would anyone use this??" I believe this was pre Infoseek, Excite, Yahoo search days. Guess my insight back then was a little poor.

Wait... no. I mean, horrible ol' days. 33.6 kbps connections. Buggy, crash-prone browsers. Hideous web pages. And total lack of content - we didn't even have Wikipedia back then, can you imagine?
