Ubuntu - based on Debian unstable (Sid) + added and changed programs.
Ubuntu LTS - based on Debian testing + added and changed programs.

Been running Debian SID for about a year now - no problems.
Took #! to testing, then to SID then installed VSIDO.

Saying any distro is "stable" is as much a myth as saying Debian SID is "unstable"!
    That's my opinion.

    Lol, nice Marvin quotes.
I usually prefer Testing but I'm going to be trying Sid in a little bit here.

Thanks, found that at wallbase.cc I think.

    ALERT: Off Topic

Now is the danger times for SID since wheezy just went stable a lot of apps from "experimental" are hitting the SID repos, but with care ... there is no problem,
If you see "errors" wait a day or so.

    For example, just now:
    Code:
    Fetched 772 kB in 15s (50.9 kB/s)
    Reading package lists... Done

Hey, KDE's epic, and so are Cinnamon and Xfce, however for resource usage, and the ability to make it GNOME 2-like, Xfce's my fave DE.
