    [ubuntu_studio]Acer E1-571 freezes

I have a brand new acer e1-571(i7-3612QM 2.1GHZ, 6GB RAM), i have installed ubuntu studio 12.04 on it and it seems to work fluid and cool, but quite often it just freezes completely, and there's nothing i can do apart from reboot using the switch. Any help will be appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!

it may be an ubuntu studio issue, anyone has the same laptop and can say something about it?

Note the time that it freezes, then look through /var/log/ for clues. The files syslog, kern.log and dmesg are good places to start. Look for events logged around the time your computer froze.

    Re: [ubuntu_studio]Acer E1-571 freezes

    I found this in kernel.log...
There seems to be a capital ERROR
    ] [drm:gen6_sanitize_pm] *ERROR* Power management discrepancy: GEN6_RP_INTERRUPT_LIMITS expected 16000000, was 12060000
    but I don't know if it's that...

any help appreciated, if more information needed I can collect, no problem.

    Thank you,

here's a brief of the last logs before getting freezed...

    Re: [ubuntu_studio]Acer E1-571 freezes

After searching I think I discovered the source of my error, the kernel.
Anyone could tell me how to update my lowatency kernel in a reliable way if it is possible?

    Thanks in advance!
