    Exclamation how do i migerate Apps,App settings and p.c configuration

    from linux noob=
    1) how do i migerate a)Apps,b)App settings and c)p.c configuration to new hardware---?
    (i know you can export a list of installed softwares and import it to a new pc),i want to preserve app-settings ,and changes+tweaks i make to the o.s,

    in windows i could copy "C:\Users\user-abc\AppData" =to get,app settings,and
    Export appropriate o.s configuration from registry to new sytem=to get,o.s configuration settings and tweaks

    in linux=
    1)migerate Apps=export list of installed software,and import to new system
    2)export configuration of apps=?
    3)export configuration of o.s and tweaks i make=?

    Copying your home directory is a good start.

    Nearly all of the application configs and tweaks that you have made live in your home folder (/home/$USER/) as hidden files.
    You can see hidden files by opening your file manager and hitting CTRL+h.
