Also signed, but that makes only a measly 38 signatures on that pettion. Any way to boost that?

I am looking to get this card (pci) to work in Karmic. I am hoping that combined with a sigal booster, that I can extend the bluetooth range on my pc a bit.

    I poped them an email:

    Hi,

Firstly thank you for supporting the Linux community, and supply us with drivers for your devices.

I have the PCI (Bluew-2310x)接口的双无线网卡(WLAN and Bluetooth Wireless Card), but your site

    http://translate.googleusercontent.c...kZpNB3vckhRDMA

does not supply drivers for the latest Ubuntu 9.10 for this card (PCI)

Will those drivers be made available?

or better yet, will you make the source available, to allow the linux community to support themselves?

With the source, I would be able to build my own drivers, for my kernel, and make those available to the community.

    And the reply:

    Dear Sir:

Our driver for USB version MiniCard for Ubuntu 9.10 has release.

However, for PCIe version MiniCard for Ubuntu 9.10 is not finish yet.

We will soon update our driver for PCIe support Ubuntu 9.10 as soon as possible.

Please make sure you are use the PCIe version of MiniCard, otherwise you can use the USB version Ubuntu 9.10 driver.

You can download it from the following address:

    ftp://3dsp.com.cn

    user: 3dsp_lpkt_usb

    passwd: m4rt9s

    ftp://3dsp.com.cn

    user: 3dsp_lpkt_pci

    passwd: fw1qa8

    Sincerely Yours truly,

    Best Regards

    3DSP has released drivers!
I have posted them on launchpad

    https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/u...question/78047

I can't do anything with them! But I hope someone can one day plug these into the Kernel.

Re: 3dsp wifi bluetooth Drivers how to use for current kernel

The other way of doing this is installing the 2.6.31-14 kernel in 10.04.

    1) Fresh Install of 10.04
    2) Get http://mirror.globo.com/ubuntu/archi...14.48_i386.deb
(via a wired connection or by having it on another drive!)
    3)Install the package
    4)Reboot, install the drivers
Cd to the folder and then
    Code:
    sudo bash Install_3DSP.sh
(If it takes veeeery long just close the terminal and try again)

    5) Enjoy!

Re: 3dsp wifi bluetooth Drivers how to use for current kernel

Well going back to a previous kernel is no option for me.
I run 2.6.35 now for mulittouch stuff (maverick 10.10 kernel on 10.04).

    There is another way:
download the partly source and compile.
    However I get stuck.
First it fails on a missing 'kfree' which I solved by adding #include <linux/slab.h> to the c file (thanks google and posters).

Now I have a new problem which I can't solve.
    I get this error:
    CC [M] /home/vincent/Downloads/BlueW-2310U_3.0.4_100820/driver_src/new_bluetooth/lbluetooth_entry.o
    /home/vincent/Downloads/BlueW-2310U_3.0.4_100820/driver_src/new_bluetooth/lbluetooth_entry.c: In function ‘register_HCI_device’:

    make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.35-22-generic'
    make: *** [all] Error 2

Some guy put a pastebin up with the same issue:
    http://pastebin.com/LXbiRF9U

    with no fix unfortunately.
    Can somebody help me?
I contacted support, but got nothing yet.
    thanks
