Depends on the version. See: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManage...ication&iId=11.
A front-end like Playonlinux (look for it in the Software Centre), might help to get things started if you're unfamiliar with Wine.

Umm, sorry to ask this, but where is the Software Centre?
Thanks
Not a unity user, but I believe you just have to enter "Software Center" into the dash. I also believe there is an icon for it the toolbar.
Or from a terminal command prompt, you could:
...to install it.Code:sudo apt-get install playonlinux p7zip-full
BEFORE you do this, read through the details of the link Toz gave you, for the version of Excel you're planning to use.
A Silver rating is quite poor -- meaning, a variety of features are NOT going to work -- for which you will be able to do nothing to make them work.
I generally recommend folks only use Wine when the app and version they want to use has a Gold rating or better; that way, they get most if not all the features they need to use.
Ubuntu 20.04, Mint 19.10; MS Win10 Pro.
Will not respond to PM requests for support -- use the forums.
