Kubuntu 13.04 Live CD No Menu Button

Wondering normal? As live CD shows up with just the activities button and nothing else.
Checked here and on google and haven't seen the issue.
And don't see any other apps running like sound,wifi tray icons?

No problems with any other Live CD's and Ubuntu 12.10 worked fine and everything worked out of the box.

Dual core - Dual Display ati4350 using default open drivers.





Am I missing something and assume this is not normal?

Can add it to the menu but for a newbie not knowing how would be a big setback and turn-off.
Anybody else with this issue? Or Am I Just Special!

Ohhh Darn and I thought I was Special.

But the sad part can't find the issue common enough in the stream with other fishes.
We must be the only tadpoles with defects in the stream
