    unity from ubuntu-gnome

    HI
I'll download in a few days 13.04 and wonder if I'm fine with downloading ubuntu-gnome and later, maybe only for testing, have a look at unity. Or is it better/easier the other
way round by downloading the regular version?
    Thanks

If you are running Ubuntu Gnome, all you have to do is install ubuntu-desktop, and you will be have a choice at login to go to Unity or Gnome. If you're running stock Ubuntu w/Unity, all you have to do is install ubuntu-gnome-desktop, and you will be able to choose a Gnome Shell session. Quite easy, either way.

Here is the Ubuntu Gnome web page. Please look at the known issues. Depending upon what you decide to do, you may be affected. Or you may want to get involved with the future development of Ubuntu Gnome.

It is a machine. It is more stupid than we are. It will not stop us from doing stupid things.
