Which kernel is good for an old Acer Tablet PC with Intel Centrino CPU?

    Hi all!

I have an old Acer C110 Tablet PC with Intel Centrino CPU, I tried to install the 32-bit Ubuntu 12.04.2 (ubuntu-12.04.2-desktop-i386.iso) but failed!
-> as a suitable kernel is required for this old CPU

So where can I download a version of Ubuntu that can run on my Acer C110?
-> or a version of Linux that can let me access the web using Firefox & Google Chrome, run LibreOffice, and connect to the shared folders of my Synology Diskstation DS210j without any setup?

Thanks for any kind of help!

The 1 GHz Pentium M does not have PAE, which gives some limitations.

You can install Xubuntu 12.04 and use it until april 2015 or Lubuntu 12.04 which can be used until october this year. After that you have to upgrade with Fake-PAE.
