    Resolution issues

After using a 22 inch monitor I decided to hook up a 32 inch HDTV.
I cannot seem to get the right resolution and I have searched and read many threads and still am kind of 'lost'. At the moment it's set to "1360x768" which is not correct and there is no other option that's higher. Monitor is hooked using VGA

    My hardware:
    AMD 5200 x2
ATI HD Radeon 3200 - Onboard chip

    xrandr:
    Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1360 x 768, maximum 8192 x 8192
    VGA-0 connected 1360x768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 484mm x 272mm
    1360x768 60.0*+
    1024x768 75.1 70.1 60.0
    800x600 72.2 75.0 60.3 56.2
    640x480 72.8 75.0 60.0
    720x400 70.1
HDMI-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)

Any help in getting a correct resolution would be great. This is an install of 12.10 with no added tweaks by me, so I do not know which drivers are installed for graphics.
    Thanks, Dougie

    Re: Resolution issues

First, what is your monitor manufacturer and model number for your 32 inch television or exact native resolution of your 32 inch television? If your television is 720p rated, you are already at the maximum resolution for your set.
