    Looks like a great machine but kinda pricey. I think I could get better value from System76 or Apple (don't flame me! ).

    Not really that pricey. It's a good machine.

    However, I think it has an AMD graphics chip and to pay that money and still have to muck about with closed source drivers: no, thank you.

    Looks like it is using Intel HD 4000 graphics.
