Hi, I have a problem with counter on Unity panel - it's missing. For me it's a very usefull feature (especially with Unity Mail). My first thought was that Unity Mail is broken, but counter don't show up with other programs too (for example Lightread). Any ideas how to fix this? Is there anyone who have the same problem? Problem appeared after one of updates. I know that 13.04 is still in beta, but I'm a little bit worried. Best regards, krecik1024 EDIT: Problem solved. All I need to do was delete Unity Mail, Lightread, etc. from Unity panel, and then add it again.

Do you mean the envelope icon or app indicator? It is missing on my up to date 13.04 but I think we need to launch one of the applications that use that app indicator such a Thunderbird, Empathy, IRC, Email, Chat. Then (I think) the envelope app indicatior will make an appearance. In this way we do not get app indicators that we do not use. Regards.

You mean the Unity Mail count badge, right?

Like I said earlier Lightread (RSS Reader) don't show this counter either. And that's happen after one of updates. When I upgraded Ubuntu 12.10 to 13.04 everything works fine. Now this counter isn't working.
