Hi guys,
Well I tried to set up a TF2 server, thinking it would be as easy as downloading Linux, some software, and running it. It's not, and I need help. I have followed tutorials to get a TF2 server working on Linux, but I need a public IP for others to be able to connect to it. So I got Ubuntu Server and got it working, but my router is behind NAT (or at least that's what others on this forum have been saying). They identified port forwarding as the best way to get around this. But I've never port forwarded before. I get the general gist of it, but when it says to forward 50+ ports… isn't that a bit time consuming? I have an Apple Time Capsule as my router.

Any help or comments are greatly appreciated… I don't really know where to go from here.

Thanks in advance
