    WiTopia users beware

I was once a fan of WiTopia's OpenVPN service because it was stable, the company seemed to live by their claims in regards to end-user privacy, and seemed to take the security of their service seriously. I have been in communication with their technical representatives and they seem to be running a quality service on the surface, but there is a dark secret hidden in the details that many people will fail to realize.

WiTopia's contact information puts them at the physical address of 11654 Plaza America Drive #316 Reston, Virginia 20190. If you do a little research about this address it will quickly become apparent that WiTopia's headquarters is at or near the same physical building as a CIA field office. In addition, most (not all) of the companies housed in this building - other than the CIA - have something to do with information gathering, undisclosed research labs or information security. Here are some examples:

    Site: CIA Field Office
Description: Unknown activities. I can't find much about this place, but there is an incomplete form online: http://soprweb.senate.gov/index.cfm?...ilingTypeID=51
Address: I can't find any real information about specific offices (which is understandable), but based on research I believe these to be the primary field offices; 11654 PLAZA AMERICA DRIVE, SUITE 276, 11654 Plaza America Drive, SUITE 323.

*Suite 323 also comes up in a project trying to uncover the Government sponsored monitoring project called Echelon: http://www.mega.nu/ampp/echelon.html.
*Suite 276 was referenced in the Senate's public records for an LD-2 disclosure forum (linked above)

    Site: http://www.voziq.com/
    Description: Social media monitoring/profiling
Address: 11654 Plaza America Drive, # 949 Reston, VA 20190 USA

    Site: https://www.witopia.net/
Description: VPN service that claims to allow anonymous browsing
Address: 11654 Plaza America Drive #316 Reston, Virginia 20190 USA

    Site: Nonphysical Research
Description: From what I can find there are several authors across several titles, but one in particular is Irene Kendig, which is the author is a very odd book about meta-phyics, This group studies everything from self-hypnosis to the psychology of people in general.
Address: 11654 Plaza America Drive, Suite 123, Reston, VA 20190

    Site: http://www.cluetrust.com/
Description: Specializes in geographical processing software. If this does not alarm you, then you're not paranoid enough. Look at the site to see exactly who this software would be tailored to (hint: people that like to monitor and spy on others)
Address: 11654 Plaza America Drive, Suite 214, Reston, VA 20190

The other offices seem to he miscellaneous in nature to most individuals, but could be carefully chosen businesses to assist in aiding the CIA with information gathering. I mean, there are some businesses like Taco Bell, UPS, etc. However, these could just be put there to make life easier on the spies working/living there on a daily basis.

This could all be a simple coincidence, but I'd rather not take the risk. I am under the belief that this service does monitor users and is likely a honeypot (likely a new sub-branch of Echelon) ran by a CIA field office like most of the other businesses at this location. Take the information and draw your own conclusion, but I will make the choice to not trust this company and move on. I could be crazy, but there is just too much information out there supporting that WiTopia is likely, in some part, ran by the CIA or some sub-group within the CIA. Either way, I don't trust it.

Unless you have positive proof and not just a hunch or a something more than "they are near a CIA building, they must be selling our datas" this is all speculation.
