    multiple installs

    Hi

plan: Create a desktop setup that fits my needs and then use a copy of this setup to install on the other 3 office machines via 3 usb sticks

Could anyone give me some advice on this please?

    many thanks

Although I have never used it yet myself, remastersys can probably do what you need.

Not sure why you need to use three USB sticks to install the same OS onto three machines. Why not just one USB? Install on machine 1, then 2, etc. ...

If your just talking about installing the same software on the other boxes you could create a markings list with synaptic package manager.

Lol. Maybe something for the future! Not that I've ever tried it myself but would surely give it a whirl if the opportunity arose. What could possibly go wrong???
