    Where are you getting your iso from? This is the preferred place to download the Ubuntu iso from:

    For Ubuntu Gnome get it from here:

    Ditto here. I have 13.04 beta2 (updated) running side-by-side 12.04.2LTS (also updated). Even though 13.04 is only beta, it appears to be even more stable than 12.04.2 LTS.

    Well I did not add it. I did not install any new software during live system. And when I looked at the software sources in Update Manager it showed the Gnome-3 repos. It is really no big deal now though.
