Twitter desktop integration is gone

After a recent update which removed Gwibber, the desktop integration of Twitter account is gone. I know that it is supposed to be provided by Friends and the relevant friends-twitter package is installed but still in the Online Accounts it says: "There are currently no application installed which integrate with your Twitter account." I wonder if it's a bug or I need to install some additional package?

I have noticed some addition and removal of plugins when the Gnome control center (often) updates. gir1.2 seems to be related in some way, but everything seems to be installed at the moment . I use the Gnome shell 3.6 as well as Unity though.

You'll need to install friends-app if you want the new Gwibber replacement. It won't be included by default for 13.04 as there isn't time to resolve the remaining issues.

Food for thought, Chromium/Chrome has a nice Twitter add on that works just fine.

The problem is it seems the app is buggy and doesn't recongnise in 13.04 it can handle twitter accounts, even with friends-twitter installed as well no option to add an account comes up.
