Does anyone know what the issue might be?
Its the first time ive come across this problem.

    Thanks in advance!!

    Hi

    Try this:
    Code:
    sudo apt-key update

    sudo apt-get update
Let us know how it goes.
    Regards.

    root@kvm-host:~# apt-key update
gpg: key 437D05B5: "Ubuntu Archive Automatic Signing Key <ftpmaster@ubuntu.com>" not changed
gpg: key FBB75451: "Ubuntu CD Image Automatic Signing Key <cdimage@ubuntu.com>" not changed
    gpg: Total number processed: 2
    gpg: unchanged: 2
Then then did update (no issues).
apt-get upgrade then gave the same "The following packages cannot be authenticated" as above.

I just tried changing the mirror source to "http://au.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/" on one of the servers.
    update & upgrade ran perfectly.

EDIT: It seems you solved it already.

Could you post the result of these commands?
    Code:
    lsb_release -a

    sudo apt-key list
    Regards.

BTW... using the AU mirror is a temporary fix.
I definitely do want go back to using the US mirrors, so getting this fixed is important.
