    puppy linux. No adobe flash player on my os

    Please help. I have been on the internet and found a version of flash player for puppy linux. Its the 11.2 version. Only been using linux for 4 days and need step by step guidance to download and install.
    I have ordered some beginner books but still awaiting their arrival. I have tried to follow the information in this forum but still getting lost. please help Thanks

    Using firefox? http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?no_redirect Download the .tar.gz version. Extract that .tar.gz and copy the file libflashplayer.so to /home/username/.mozilla/plugins. If the plugins folder doesn't exist create it. .mozilla is hidden by default you may have to enable show hidden files or something similar in your filebrowser

    If you have 2 GB of RAM and 4 days of experience I would recommend Lubuntu 12.10. Puppy is not the most user-friendly distro.
