Its been awhile since I last used Ubuntu(it think it was 10.04). I want it on my laptop, so I was wondering if I need to download a specific version or not. Also Im 90% sure it will run on my laptop but just to make sure here are my specs.

    AMD Dual-Core E-450 Accelerated processor
    1.65GHz, 1MB L2 Cache
    4GB DDR3 SDRAM system memory

    Hey,
I think you'r laptop should run Ubuntu well. I don't see you'r graphics, but if you do run into any problems you could post back, or try out Xubuntu or Lubuntu.
    Cheers!

Just download the latest version, which currently is 12.10.

Please note that Ubuntu's user interface has changed drastically since 10.04.

Either Ubuntu 12.10 or Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS would work fine. Read the description for both and decide for yourself.

edit: Yes you can use ptn107's link to DL Ubuntu.
Yes, since you already have win7 64bit I would DL Ubuntu 64bit. Google search for difference of 64/32bit
