Auto open browser when network connection is found
So I have my parents on Ubuntu, but they "Firefox" to open if they have a active internet connection. I know there is a "ifup " function in ubuntu but I am not sure how to do this. What I would like to have done is if they are online they get firefox if not it opens network manager so they can get online. I know I am making this sound easy but I am sure there is a lot of work to do this. So do you guys know of any scripts I can pop into the OS to make this work?
