    Macbook Pro, booting

Hello I have a macbook pro that was dual booted with a verision of ubuntu called Jolicloud and Mac OS x yesterday when I deleted the Jolicloud partition from my harddrive the grub bootloaded took over and now will not let me access my mac files. upon scanning the disk with testdisk on parted magic I can see that the mac partition is still there I just do not now how to access it. I could really use some help because I don't want to lose all of my photography that is on my harddisk

I am not very good at this whole thing but I really need my files back and my computer running asap

Have you tried using the recovery partition on your MacBook?
